A judge ordered on Thursday that former Ecuadorian president Abdalá Bucaram serve home preventive detention with police surveillance, in the framework of an investigation for alleged organized crime.

They are prosecuted for alleged organized crime ”.

The diligence took place at dawn electronically because the judge was in the capital and the former president in Guayaquil, from where he could not be transferred to Quito due to his poor health.
