Mike Muscala hit a 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds to play and the Oklahoma City Thunder turned around after a 22-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the Miami Heat 116-115 on Wednesday.
In a match mostly played by substitutes in the second half, Muscala scored two shots of three in the final 35 seconds, his only points of the night.
Darius Bazley added 21 points and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 18 for the Thunder, who edged the Heat 34-15 in the fourth quarter.
Rookie Tyler Herro scored 30 points, the most this season for Miami, and Duncan Robinson added 19 – all of his points came in the first half.
Miami made 56% of its field goals in the first half and was up 66-62 at halftime.

Muscala’s first triple tied the game at 113 with 34.8 seconds remaining. Solomon Hill’s layup shot again gave the Heat a two-point lead with 11.6 seconds left. Muscala’s second shot of three put the Thunder up 116-115 and Herro missed a long-range triple just as the horn sounded.
