Chris Taylor scored on a Max Muncy sacrifice fly in the 10th inning and the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied to defeat the Los Angeles Angels 6-5 on Saturday and extend their best streak of the season with their fourth straight win.
Mookie Betts evened the score with a home run in the seventh and drove in three runs for the NL West-leading Dodgers, who also had three RBIs from Muncy and improved their road record to 9-2 this season.
Mike Trout homered and drove in three for the Angels, who have lost three in a row and six of eight after losing the first two of the home series.
The victory went to Jake McGee (2-0), with five outs. Kenley Jansen from Curaçao worked in the 10th and achieved his sixth rescue. Jansen rounded out his second save of the series by throwing three straight strikes off Trout, who didn’t hit.
For the Dodgers, Puerto Rican Kiké Hernández 3-1.
For the Angels, the Venezuelan Luis Rengifo 4-1 with a run scored.
