What treatments exist for spots in the armpits and neck


Many times, stains on armpits and on the neck are due to a skin condition known as acanthosis nigricans. We will go into more detail on this condition below, and also mention the treatments that are effective against it.

What is acanthosis nigricans?

If the acanthosis nigricans is caused by another condition, the respective treatment for that condition should be sufficient to also eradicate the spots and stripes on the skin, or lighten them a bit.

It is possible that the acanthosis nigricans is caused by intake of a specific group of medications. In these cases, it is best to discontinue use of these drugs and replace them with others if possible.

As you can see, the spots on the armpits and skin caused by acanthosis nigricans can go away on their own, and since they are not related to any pain or discomfort, it can be said that they are not a serious problem of Health.
