There are 531 thousand 239 COVID infections in Mexico

Federal Health authorities offered the daily press conference to inform the population about the pandemic of the COVID-19 disease, caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, in Mexico.

To date, the authorities record:

Deaths: 57,574

Positive: 531,239

Suspects: 81,175


The General Director of Epidemiology, José Luis Alomía Zegarra, presented the list of entities that have had the greatest mobility in the last three weeks, which was led by Durango, followed by Michoacán, Nayarit and Querétaro.

Again, he highlighted Gómez Palacio y Lerdo for the incidence of the disease per 100,000 inhabitants. He highlighted the decline in the first municipality, but warned that it could grow again in Lerdo.


José Luis Alomía pointed out that Durango had its “maximum peak” of transmission between weeks 26 and 27, although he pointed out that it shows an upward trend.
