Cody Bellinger started the ninth with a home run as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 4-3 on Saturday night.
Bellinger found a slider from Daniel Bard (1-2) and sent the ball just above right fielder Sam Hillard’s glove for seven homers on the season. On two occasions in his career, Bellinger has hit a game-ending home run.
Chris Taylor had another home run for the Dodgers, who have won 12 of 14 games this season when they hit at least two home runs.
Kenley Jansen (1-0) took the win after climbing the mound for the last out of the ninth inning.
Hilliard homered for the Rockies, who have lost six games in a row. Trevor Story added a couple of hits.
