The Morenoist senators elected Eduardo Ramírez as the new president of the Senate Board of Directors.
According to the count, Ramírez got 46 votes in favor, 36 of them physical. The process was carried out with transparent ballot boxes, the presence of notaries and was broadcast on the Congress Channel.
The party has 61 legislators in the Upper House, representing almost 50 percent of the total.
For her part, Senator Imelda Castro was elected as vice president.
