They give almost 4 years in prison to a minor involved in the murder of the mayor of Valle de Chalco

A minor who participated in 2019 in the murder of the Morenoist mayor of Valle de Chalco, Francisco Tenorio Contreras, was sentenced to three years and nine months of internment in Quinta del Bosque, located in the municipality of Zinacantepec. The Public Ministry of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Adolescents, of the Attorney General’s Office (FGJEM), credited the participation of the adolescent in the murder of the mayor, who was injured by a firearm shot on October 29 of last year.

The judge specialized in adolescents based in Zinacantepec set him this internment sentence for his participation in the crimes of qualified homicide and qualified and aggravated injuries, also set him a fine of 224 thousand 869 pesos.

On the morning of October 29 of last year, Francisco Tenorio Contreras was attacked with a firearm while traveling in his truck, after touring the Geovillas Housing Unit, in Valle de Chalco. The mayor was transferred injured to the High Specialty Hospital of Ixtapaluca, but due to the severity of the injuries he died on November 1.

On November 10, the FGJEM announced the offer of a reward of 500 thousand pesos to anyone who provides useful and truthful information for the location and detention of two adolescents related to the events. On the night of November 23, this minor and another 17-year-old boy, who also participated in the attack on the mayor, were shot in the streets of the Tláhuac mayor’s office, in Mexico City; Both were admitted to a hospital in the capital of the country to receive the required medical care and after being discharged, an arrest warrant was issued for this homicide and for aggravated injuries.

Last July, a judge specialized in adolescents sentenced the other minor involved to five years of confinement, who on the day of the events was the one who asked Francisco Tenorio for a “ride” and got into the van in which he was traveling with his secretary In addition to his driver, who was unharmed. For the same attack, Hugo Antonio “N”, alias “El H”, is also linked to the trial, for whom an arrest warrant for the crime of homicide was executed on December 6.
