Conagua reported that tropical storm “Nana” intensified to a category 1 hurricane and is currently located 95 kilometers (km) southeast of Belize City, Belize as well as 185 km south-southeast of Chetumal, Quintana Roo.
The phenomenon presents maximum sustained winds of 120 km / h, gusts of 150 km / h and a movement towards the west at 26 km / h.
It is expected to make landfall through Belize in the next few hours and cause very heavy rains in Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
