A free movie at the cinema in exchange for food – L’


Le Tapis Rouge Cinema has joined forces with Moisson Mauricie / Center-du-Québec to support local families during this back-to-school period. Families will therefore be able to watch the family animation film for free. Terra Willy, Unknown Planet in exchange for non-perishable food.

The screenings will take place on Saturday, September 12 at 10 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. The doors will open at 9:30 am. First come, first served. Families will be invited to bring their donations on the day of the screening.

People are invited to hand over non-perishable items such as fruits and vegetables as well as canned meats, pasta, baby products and hygiene products.

“Supporting the community and such an exceptional organization is part of our philosophy. The first experience organized for the Great Holiday Collection last November was conclusive. We will make our 4 rooms available for the activity and hope to collect a very large number of foodstuffs for Moisson Mauricie / Center-du-Québec ”, underline Joël Côté and Paul Langevin, owners of Cinéma Le Tapis Rouge.
