Not all people can receive this financial support. Are you among them?
The requirements to have the extra $ 300 dollars are three.

Support for an extra $ 300 in unemployment benefit was authorized in a presidential memorandum issued by President Trump on August 8, 2020, and this was in response to the end of the support of $ 600 dollars per week that was being given thanks to the CARES Act.
However, it should be noted that not all unemployed people in all states or territories that are going to give the extra $ 300 in unemployment benefits will be able to receive this money, since they have to meet a series of requirements first.
To get this $ 300, you need:
–Have been eligible to have unemployment support as of August 1, 2020.
–Your regular weekly unemployment benefit must be at least $ 100.
–You must have been unemployed or have reduced hours due to the pandemic.
Beyond the established eligibility standards, it is up to each state or territory to decide what else you should do – if you should do anything else – to receive this money, as explained in Investopedia.
