As of this Tuesday, the press room of the Government of Mexico City honors the journalist Virgilio Caballero.
The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, unveiled the plaque that gives name to the space where the reporters who daily cover the activities of the local administration gather.
Virgulio was a teacher but above all a symbol of freedom and democracy and today on the journalist’s day we pay tribute to Virgilio only, but to all of you who contribute to making a homeland, “said Claudia Sheinbaum, Head of Government.
The event was attended by the Secretary of Public Function, Irma Eréndira Sandoval, who recognized Caballero’s work and even told an anecdote about him during the Zapatista caravan.
