AMLO presents ‘Miguel Hidalgo’ award to Health professionals

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador presented the “Miguel Hidalgo” award to 58 health professionals, including doctors and nurses, for their outstanding performance in attending the health emergency of COVID-19.

Accompanied by Arturo Zaldívar, minister president of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN), as well as the president of the Senate, Eduardo Ramírez; of the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Dulce María Sauri, and the Secretary of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero, the Federal Executive delivered the recognitions to doctors and nurses belonging to the Institute

Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS), the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), and the Institute of Health for Well-being (Insabi).

Health personnel belonging to Petróleo Mexicanos (Pemex), the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the Navy (Semar) also received this recognition.
