They ask that the sit-in in CDMX is not ephemeral; López Obrador goes to Morelos

JOJUTLA, Mor.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador asked his opponents to stay in the sit-in that they have installed in the center of Mexico City, because that means that the change has taken effect and corruption is being fought, and he also promised not to repress them and take care of them.

“A sign that we are advancing is that now those who were used to living under the protection of public power are protesting, conservatives are protesting, before the common people protested, we protested when we were in the opposition, because we wanted justice and we wanted democracy, now those who have benefited for a long time are protesting and think they will return ”.

At the beginning of his second day to evaluate the reconstruction in the states where there were damages, such as Puebla and Morelos, López Obrador guaranteed the members of the sit-in that there will be no repression.

“And also that our conservative adversaries know that we are not the same, we are not authoritarian, we are not repressors, full freedoms are guaranteed, now that there is a sit-in in the center of the city, which we did for a long time, when we were fighting for justice and democracy. They must know that they have all the guarantees to demonstrate ”.

Until yesterday, the members of this mobilization called by the National Anti-AMLO Front (Frena), stayed in tents that they installed on Juárez and Reforma avenues, due to the blockade carried out by the capital’s police, which prevented them from reaching the Zócalo de the CDMX.

“They are not going to be disturbed, they are going to be able to stay there in their tents, as we did, hopefully and they stay long enough, that it is nothing more ephemeral, a few days, we stayed there several times until For more than a month, I am not calling for everyone to go camping in the Zócalo ”.

He also called on the leaders of the movement not to use people as cannon fodder, that is, to leave their followers in the protest and they go to rest in hotels.

He said he felt “happy, because imagine if the conservatives did not protest, I would even feel frustrated, I would say we are not doing anything, there is no change, but things are really changing! And a test is precisely those protests of those who before were dedicated to prosper, to loot ”.

He said he had faith that this “streak of bad luck” of the covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis will soon pass, and assured that he has fulfilled 95 of his 100 commitments made upon his arrival in power.

On his tour of Jojutla were the governor of Morelos, Cuauhtémoc Blanco; the director of INAH, Diego Prieto, and the mayor of Jojutla, Juan Ángel Flores; later, in Zacatepec, the Secretary of Education, Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, joined.

López Obrador supports the Cuau

“The governor of Morelos, Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo, will continue to have all the support of the Mexican government that he requires during his term, said President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who visited the state to evaluate the work of the National Reconstruction Program, at three years of the 2017 earthquake.

“We come to tell Cuauhtémoc that he is not alone; It has all the support of the federal government, ”said López Obrador during the event held in the atrium of the parish of San Miguel Arcángel, in the municipality of Jojutla, a historic building built in the seventeenth century, which suffered severe damage due to this natural phenomenon.

Likewise, he pledged that all cultural assets damaged in 19S will be rehabilitated, so there will be a budget assigned until the reconstruction process is completed.

For his part, Blanco acknowledged the actions taken by the head of the federal Executive to speed up the reconstruction tasks.
