Detroit returns with an Auto Show in fall 2021 – L’


Twists and turns follow one another in the saga surrounding the new Detroit Auto Show. The new formula which was to be inaugurated in the summer of 2020 has been canceled. Now, the organizers have postponed the presentation of the edition from summer 2021 to fall 2021. It is now from September 28 to October 9, 2021 that the first version of this new kind of fair will be held. inside and out. North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) officials say the show will remain a fall show after the inaugural event in September 2021. Show dates have already been set with the TCF Center for the next three years. NAIAS organizers have set the dates towards the end of the month, in part to accommodate the Paris and Munich auto shows that are presented in early September.

The organizers still aim to hold seven unique shows in one:

  • Motor Bella: Sep 24 to 26
  • The Gallery: September 26
  • Press days: September 28 and 29
  • AutoMobili-D: September 28 to 30
  • Industry premieres: September 29-30
  • Charity evening: 1er October
  • Public days: October 2 to 9

We just wish the pandemic would give us a break by then
