At the request of the Ministry of Welfare, from September 21 to 25 of this year, the Secretariat of the Navy-Navy of Mexico (Semar), established an air bridge between the municipalities of Guaymas and Bavícora, in the state of Sonora, for the transfer and delivery of nine tons of pantries and medical supplies, as well as transportation of personnel from the “Doctors for Sonora” Program.

For the transfer tasks, the Fourth Naval Region designated a Black Hawk helicopter, as well as personnel from Admirals, Captains, Officers, Classes and Sailors, who will direct and carry out the transfer and delivery of 300 boxes with basic food products.

They also contained medical supplies such as alcohol, bandages, and medications; in addition to medical personnel to provide consultation to the residents, all of the above, for the benefit of the Bavícora community in the mountainous area of southern Sonora.
