Xitlali Elizabeth Ballesteros Heredia was reported by her relatives as missing in the city of Morelia. The 31-year-old woman was last seen by her family when she left her home in the Paseo de las Gaviotas subdivision, in the Altozano area.
The Alba Alert states that Xitlali left in his vehicle around 2:00 p.m. to make some payments for the drinking water service; since then, nothing has been known about her.
According to the file issued by the Michoacán Prosecutor’s Office, there are fears for his integrity, since he may be the victim of a crime.
This disappearance is registered one week after the murder of Jessica González Villaseñor, who was found on October 25 in the same area of Morelia, four days after her disappearance was reported.
Hours before the Prosecutor’s Office activated the Alba Alert for the case of Xitlali Ballesteros in Morelia, another woman was found dead in the Hacienda del Valle subdivision in Zamora.
So far, the victim is an unknown person in the Forensic Medical Service of that municipality, which borders the state of Jalisco.
