The 30th edition of the mayor’s blood drive will take place on October 29 and 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in the central courtyard of Les Rivières shopping center.
For the occasion, Mayor Jean Lamarche is appealing to blood donors and to those who would like to become blood donors and asks them to make a gesture of solidarity that could save lives.
Since March, Héma-Québec has invited people who wish to donate blood to make an appointment by calling 1 800 343-7264 (SANG) or by sending an email to [email protected] .
The reservation of a time slot facilitates the progress of the event in a pandemic context. In addition, Héma-Québec wants to be reassuring by deploying numerous health measures to protect donors, volunteers and employees.
Anyone in good health over the age of 18 can usually donate blood. Before going to a blood drive, you can check your eligibility at 1 800 847-2525 or on the Héma-Québec website.
