This Thursday morning, the discussion of the Tax Miscellany 2021 began in the Senate, which will take place in a first reading after having been approved by the Finance and Public Credit Commission.
Senators will address the opinion to approve the Tax Miscellany 2021, the initiative by the fiscal “Big Brother” and the application of Income Tax (ISR) to platforms like Uber, Didi and Airbnb.
As published last week, the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies endorsed in general and in particular the opinion to reform the Federal Law of Rights, with the 7% increase in the fees for the exploitation and use of the radioelectric spectrum, with what cell phone and internet rates will go up.
The tax miscellany minute approved also in the Chamber of Deputies, which includes, among others, the so-called fiscal “Big Brother” will also be discussed and voted on, so that the authorities can collect images or electronic files that serve as proof of goods and assets that exist in the taxpayer’s domicile.
Likewise, the application of the ISR to transport platforms such as Uber and Didi, and accommodation such as Airbnb; the temporary blocking of platforms with fiscal domicile outside Mexico that do not pay taxes; and the precautionary assurance to third parties for related assets.
The Commission will also discuss, analyze and determine the Federal Income Law minutes for Fiscal Year 2021.
