President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met privately with the governor of Baja California, Jaime Bonilla Valdez and the municipal president of Ensenada, Armando Ayala, in his office in the National Palace, and promised to visit the six municipalities of the state before 1 next December.
“I received the governor of Baja California, Jaime Bonilla and the municipal president of Ensenada, Armando Ayala. I promised to go to the six municipalities of the state, including the new one, San Quintín. I will do it before December 1 for the gratitude I have to Baja Californians, “López Obrador wrote on his official Twitter account.
Federalist leaders open to dialogue
The 10 governors of the Federalist Alliance, who recently left the National Conference of Governors (Conago), welcomed the dialogue with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. They said that it is time for them to build together and raised the question: when do you receive us?
In messages through their Twitter accounts, the state leaders said that it is time for a fairer budget and pointed out that it is possible if there is political will.
This morning, López Obrador assured that he would meet with the governors of the Federalist Alliance, who ask that the lack of resources for the entities be addressed, but without “politicking” because he has to take care of the presidential inauguration.
