National Guard finds motorcycle with 3,800 fentanyl pills in Sinaloa

National Guard personnel located a motorcycle with approximately one kilo 790 grams of “crystal” and about 3,800 fentanyl pills, while carrying out inspection, security and surveillance work in the vicinity of the municipality of Escuinapa, Sinaloa.

The corporation reported that the events were recorded on the Tepic-Villa Unión highway, at kilometer 171 + 200, when the national guards marked a total stop to a person who was riding a motorcycle and was not wearing a safety helmet.

Upon noticing the presence of the federal elements, the person fled to an unknown destination.

During the inspection of the motorcycle, the national guards found a backpack containing three bags with the probable “crystal” and four bags with the tablets.

The motorcycle and the bags with the apparent drugs were transferred to the premises of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic based in Escuinapa, where the exact type and weight of the insured substances will be determined and the corresponding investigations will be followed up.
