New advances for the Alberta Francophonie! The provincial conservative government has just published this Thursday, October 29 the 2020-2023 Action Plan in the French-speaking world. A French language services policy was first announced in Alberta in 2017 by the NDP government. When it came to power in 2019, the Conservative government announced that it would continue this policy.
“I am delighted to unveil the 2020-2023 Action Plan of the Francophonie Policy, which is based on our commitment to further improve services in French in priority areas of the Francophonie,” declared in the press release. press Leila Aheer, the minister responsible for the French-speaking secretariat.
