Works on the ‘Siervo de la Nación’ highway at 89% progress

The construction of the urban highway “Siervo de la Nación” is 89 percent complete and will improve the connectivity of the Valley of Mexico region, highlighted Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza, who conducted a supervision tour.

These works that we are supervising today will help us improve the connectivity that we have in the state. Today we are here in Ecatepec, on the “Servant of the Nation” highway that will take us to connect this entire eastern area of ​​the State of Mexico, one of the most populated in the country, to the Valley of Mexico, ”he emphasized.

He indicated that this work is part of the actions and works promoted by his administration in terms of infrastructure, which is expected to be completed by March 2021.

A very important investment, more than 8 thousand 700 million pesos that are being invested, and something very relevant, the generation of jobs, this work has generated more than a thousand jobs for the benefit of this entire eastern region of our state, in particular from the municipality of Ecatepec ”, he pointed out.

Accompanied by the Secretary of Mobility, Luis Limón Chávez, and the Mayor of Ecatepec, Fernando Vilchis Contreras, Del Mazo Maza pointed out that this work will reduce travel times and strengthen the connectivity of the Valle de México Airport System, since it will bring the airports closer together. “Felipe Ángeles” in Tecámac and the one in Mexico City.

It is a work of great relevance, it will be a work that will bring investment to the state, development and of course, job creation, it is part of the commitment we have to continue promoting infrastructure in the State of Mexico, thinking about the family economy, thinking about job creation. It is a state that by teaming up with the people, it doesn’t stop, ”he said.

This work will improve connectivity and mobility in the municipality of Ecatepec, with the surrounding municipalities of the Valley of Mexico and with the Gustavo A. Madero, Cuauhtémoc and Venustiano Carranza municipalities of Mexico City.

This highway is a 14-kilometer-long elevated viaduct that will connect the Río de los Remedios in Mexico City with Jardines de Morelos in Ecatepec, in addition to connecting with the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense.

This project has a daily influx of more than 30 thousand vehicles, will benefit 5 million people and will reduce travel times by up to 30 minutes.

With the Siervo de la Nación utopian, a metropolitan axis will be formed to connect the Mexican municipalities of Ecatepec, Tlalnepantla, Tecámac, and Coacalco.
