Wishing to increase recruitment methods in order to fill the many positions available within its establishments, the Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of Montérégie-Est has requested the help of its managers.
In a memo released on October 5 by the human resources department, including the daily Press, managers are encouraged to “think about and challenge” people around them in order to provide them with job opportunities at the CISSS.
Although this is not a common practice, this is not the first time that the CISSS has resorted to this tactic, which would be renewed annually.
“We have a very large network of employees and managers and soliciting it allows us to obtain contacts and expand our recruitment pool,” says spokesperson Hugo Bourgoin.
The latter specifies that the greatest needs in terms of jobs are currently in nursing, hygiene and sanitation, laundry, food services and for job titles that can contribute to screening.
“Other recruitment strategies are underway such as the offer, this week, of more than 200 interview slots specifically for the needs in hygiene and sanitation, laundry, housekeeping and food services,” he adds. . We also ensure a presence in social media, newspapers, radio and on the site IContribute in order to identify anyone wishing to join our organization. ”
