Raymundo Collins’ home is searched in Tequesquitengo

The capital’s prosecutor’s office and the Morelos State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) executed a search warrant at a home of Raymundo Collins, former secretary of Public Security, located in the town of Tequesquitengo, belonging to the municipality of Jojutla, where they seized 41 classic cars , three aquamotos, an ATV, a motorcycle and a boat.

As part of the investigations against the former official, the FGJ requested the support of the state prosecutor’s office to carry out the search that was carried out this morning at a home located in the Playa Coqueta neighborhood, in the town of Tequesquitengo, in the state of Morelos, where in addition to the vehicles, various works of art were secured, which were under the protection of the Public Ministry.

On September 8, a judge in Mexico City released an arrest warrant against Raymundo Collins, former head of the Housing Institute (Invi) and the capital police.

The former official is charged with the crime of illegal use of powers and powers, which is punishable by a maximum penalty of between three months and two years in prison, as well as a fine of 500 to 1,000 days of minimum wage.
