Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev won his fifth title of the season this Sunday by beating Italian Lorenzo Sonego in the final of the Vienna tournament (6-4, 6-4), to also win the ticket to the London Masters event.
Rublev continues to grow in a tough 2020 in the circuit due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that does not prevent him from continuing his streak. The Russian has won 39 games this season, the record right now with Novak Djokovic, and five titles for seven in total in his record.
The young Russian qualified for the first time for the ATP Finals, where there is only one free ticket left to search for the Master in London from 15-22 November. Rublev did not give up his serve even once this week in the ATP 500 event and beat a Sonego with equal force that had swept Djokovic in the quarterfinals.
While, Australian John Millman was crowned at the Astana tournament, who beat Frenchman Adrian Mannarino in the final (7-5, 6-1) to debut his ATP record in his third final.
