Israel’s Covid-19 Vaccine Starts Clinical Trials


Israel has registered 314,535 cases of the new coronavirus since the start of the pandemic and 2,541 deaths.

JERUSALEM.

Israel started his first clinical tests of a vaccine against him new coronavirus when the government starts lighten up he second confinement decreed in the country.

The World Health Organization (WHO) currently registers some forty “candidate vaccines”, evaluated in clinical trials around the world.

Ten are in an advanced stage, phase 3, where the efficacy of the vaccine is measured on a large scale in tens of thousands of volunteers.
