265 new cases in one week –


There are 265 new cases between October 26 and November 1 in the territory of the agglomeration of Longueuil, according to the most recent report from the Department of Public Health of Montérégie. For this same period, 959 people received a positive diagnosis of COVID-19 in Montérégie.

By way of comparison, at the time of the last report spread over 7 days published by the Direction de la santé publique de la Montérégie, there were 246 cases in the agglomeration of Longueuil and 908 cases in the whole of Montérégie, between the 22 and October 28. The Department of Public Health also published last Friday the number of cumulative cases by municipality.

Provincially, there are 1,037 new cases as of Monday. Three hospitalizations were added to the toll, for a total of 499. The provincial toll shows 11 more deaths, for a total of 36,283 since the start of the pandemic.
