Free skating at the Colosseum – L’

From today, young and old will be able to enjoy free skating sessions at the Colosseum while respecting public health restrictions.

Those interested must reserve their time slot by dialing 311, extension 4021. The reservation of skating sessions must be made before 11:30 am, Monday to Friday, or until 4 pm Friday for those on Saturday.

The information collected will be used to create a register for a possible need for traceability. Note that a maximum of 25 people per session will be allowed.

Access to the changing rooms will be prohibited, but special arrangements will encourage the deposit of personal effects as well as physical distancing. Wearing a mask is compulsory inside the Colosseum except on the ice. In addition, the premises will be disinfected regularly to limit the risk of the spread of COVID-19.

The other indoor skating rinks in the territory remain closed for the moment. The City of Trois-Rivières is monitoring the situation and remains on the lookout for new government recommendations.

Note, however, that the practice of free hockey is prohibited in the current context.
