Girl from Granby: the trial of the mother-in-law will begin on September 14, 2021 in Trois-Rivières – l’hebdo journal

The start of work at the Trois-Rivières courthouse in the context of the files of the accused relating to the death of the girl from Granby revealed that the trial of the mother-in-law would begin on November 14, 2021. It will be about of a jury trial for the woman who is still detained.

It is Martin Latour and Marylie Côté who will assume the defense of the 31-year-old man accused of criminal negligence, kidnapping and abandonment of a child with failure to provide him with the things necessary for life.

The 36-year-old mother-in-law will have Michel Marchand as her lawyer. She faces charges of second degree murder, forcible confinement and aggravated assault.
