The six groups of students of 3e high school students from Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes College in Longueuil took part for Halloween in a very special pumpkin contest, thanks to which unity was strength.
Students in each class were to work as a team to decorate and present a pumpkin. Through Alvaro Cueto, teacher of social universe at the College and instigator of the project, the pumpkins were delivered to the primary school Monseigneur-Forget in the arr. of Saint-Hubert.
A jury composed of 3 studentse year received the pumpkins and then had to determine which of these creations would be the big winner.
The students were called upon to make their opinions based on very specific criteria: details, creativity, colors, facial expression, patterns and accessories.
After deliberation, the students in Ms. Karine’s class chose the pumpkin from group 31 as the winner of the competition.
