Nuevo León, with a population close to 5.2 million inhabitants, yesterday surpassed the Republic of China, world leader in population, in total deaths from COVID-19, with 1,393 million people, because while this entity added 4 thousand 644 deaths, the Asian country had 4,634 deaths as of Sunday.

But, he said, thanks to the fact that they were guided by experts here, there is good medical staff, and before that there had been invested in improving the hospital infrastructure, in addition to working as a team with other entities of the Federalist Alliance.

“Today the country turns to see Nuevo León because we are the state that has best followed the route in terms of health and the economy,” he said.

“El Bronco” then pointed out that while the national fatality average is more than 10%, in Nuevo León it is 5.5%, “the lowest in the country”, thanks to the hospital infrastructure and quality of medical personnel.

The state Health Secretariat reported yesterday that 29 deaths were reported in 24 hours.
