The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) offered 500 thousand pesos to anyone who provides truthful and useful information that leads to the location of Leonel Báez Martínez, Ángel Gerardo Ramírez Chaufon and Jesús Armando Reyes Escobar, who are employees of a Sanborns branch, located in Lindavista, in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office.
The young people have had a disappearance report since November 29, 2019. To date, their relatives do not know anything about them and demand their prompt location from the authorities, since they hope to find them alive, the parents of the disappeared told investigating agents, after a meeting with the Victims Commission of the Prosecutor’s Office.
Almost a year after his disappearance, the FGJ-CDMX has no information on the whereabouts of the 25, 23 and 24-year-old youth.
In the camera video of the capital government’s C-5, it is seen when the disappeared left the Sanborns branch, but it is not possible to detect what direction they took, since the images are after 7:00 p.m. and it is “all dark” , according to the investigation folder of the case.
The agency trusts that, with the reward, a witness, co-worker or anyone will provide data to locate the young people alive. The Sanborns company, although it has collaborated with the authorities, has not provided relevant information to aid the investigation.
