After the severe damage caused by the rains left by the passage of the Hurricane “Zeta”, the municipalities of Cozumel, Puerto Morelos, Solidaridad and Tulum in Quintana Roo, received the Declaration of Emergency by the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), through the National Civil Protection Coordination (CNPC).

The meteor hit the shores of the Mexican Caribbean last October 26 and brought with it heavy rains in much of the state, especially in Cozumel, Puerto Morelos, Solidaridad and Tulum.
With the declaration, the authorities will have resources to meet the food, shelter and health needs of the affected population.
