Given the rebound in Covid-19 cases that are registered in Chihuahua, the governance of the entity announced new economic restriction measures in order to slow down the mobility of the population and reduce hospital occupancy that is already saturated.

The state governor, Javier Corral, announced the closure of all businesses in the 67 municipalities of the state, even those declared essential as maquilas, convenience stores, supermarkets, among others.
Commercial activities will be suspended from 7:00 p.m. each day and will resume at 6:00 a.m., while on weekends the activities will be suspended, from 7:00 p.m. on Friday and resumed at 6:00 a.m. on Monday.
The restrictions will take effect from tomorrow and will remain in effect for at least the next two weekends, after agreeing to the above during the celebration of the state health council that met on Monday to adopt the new measures.
It was also detailed that grocery stores, butchers, tortillerías and bakeries and convenience stores may remain open on weekends, while supermarkets will remain closed.
