Stolen drugs valued at more than $ 1 million found in Toluca


MEXICO CITY.

The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico reported that recovered stolen drugs valued at one million 500 thousand pesos in the Santa Cruz Atzcapotxaltong neighborhoodor, in Toluca.

As part of the investigation into the theft of a trailer with drugs on the highway, a search was made of a property located on José Ramón Albarrán street in the aforementioned neighborhood.

During the search, it was possible to recover 691 packages with 200 boxes, each, with active formula medication of Clonazepam.

In addition to a Kenworth brand vehicle, Torton type, model 2000; a Kenworth brand unit, with license plates from the State of Michoacán; an Irsa dolly, model 2017, with a report of theft from July 9.

A trailer box reported stolen on October 4 and vehicle boxes or containers without a theft report were also found in said building.

At the end of the search, the property was sealed and insured by the FGJEM in order to continue with the investigations.

On October 29, Excelsior reported that a command tried to steal two trailers with medicines that had left the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) and were heading towards the municipality of Chalco in the State of Mexico.

The two units were located with the support of a helicopter and municipal police in the municipality of Ecatepec.
