Thinking about getting a good education is important. On October 16, the Baxter and Alma Ricard Foundation announced the opening of applications for its scholarship program in 2021.

The foundation that claims “the largest scholarship program for francophone minority students” will receive applications until December 1.

To qualify, applicants must have already completed university studies and be engaged in their community. They must demonstrate their good faith through several letters of support from university and community sources.

In its press release, the Foundation recalls that “to date, more than $ 23 million has been granted to Francophones outside Quebec”. He then indicates that this sum has enabled “some 350 laureates to study in the best universities on the planet.

On August 25, the charity announced on its website that it had awarded scholarships totaling $ 368,000 to eight students. None of them were from Alberta.
