Student Jorge Barrera Ríos, from High School 5 of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), who had been reported missing on October 26, was found alive near the Azteca Stadium.
According to the newspaper El Universal, the young man was standing in front of the box office.
Presumably, Barrera Ríos was absent after being the victim of a joke by his classmates, who convinced him to go to the educational center since, according to their versions, it had been opened despite the current health contingency.
The complaint about his case was made on November 3.
Before being found, Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro joined the search for the young Jorge Barrera. It was through Twitter that the winner of two Oscars shared the Amber Alert file issued by the Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office, detailing the date and place where Jorge Barrera was last seen.
