The Ministry of Public Administration (SFP) concluded the investigation against the undersecretary of Foreign Relations for North America, Jesús Seade, without finding any irregularities.
A few weeks ago EL UNIVERSAL announced that the SFP was carrying out an investigation against Seade Kuri for embezzlement and abuse of functions after falsifying collisions and using public resources to visit his family in Hong Kong. Seade denied that there was any investigation.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE) released until this Friday afternoon that yesterday Thursday the Internal Control Body (OIC) of the agency, which represents the SFP, notified about the Agreement of Conclusion and Archiving of the administrative investigation carried out on Jesús Seade Kuri, undersecretary for North America, for alleged administrative irregularities.
“In the letter, addressed to Seade Kuri and signed by the head of the Complaints, Complaints and Investigations area of the SRE’s OIC, Laura Patricia Vivaldo Pérez, it is reported that not enough elements were found to prove, in a probable way, the commission of any conduct for which administrative responsibility is noticed, “the Foreign Ministry reported.
He added that with this, Foreign Relations reaffirms its commitment to collaborate with entities responsible for safeguarding transparency and accountability regarding the conduct and responsibilities of its public servants.
