Likewise, winds with gusts of 80 to 90 kilometers per hour and dust storms are forecast in Chihuahua and Sonora; gusts of 70 to 80 kilometers per hour with dustbins in Baja California; gusts of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour in Coahuila, the Gulf of California and the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec.
Similarly, there will be gusts of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in Nuevo León and Tamaulipas, as well as swells of 1 to 2 meters in height on the coasts of Quintana Roo.
The SMN explained that these meteorological conditions will be generated by Cold Front number 12, which will run through the northwest of Mexico, and by the wide circulation of Tropical Storm Eta, which is located over the Caribbean Sea 555 kilometers east-southeast of Cancun , Quintana Roo.
