The fishing community of Puerto Lobos, Sonora managed to rescue 30 stranded dolphins on the beach at noon this Saturday.
Thanks to the determined work of women and men led by Yaneth Ramírez and Poncho Hernández, all the specimens returned alive to the open sea.

Just last September 8, these fishermen, dedicated to diving to get clam and snail, rescued four bottlenose dolphins, a species under “Special Protection” according to the Official Mexican Standard 059.
The specimens are regularly stranded when approaching the coast in search of food.
