The head of the Ministry of the Interior (Segob), Olga Sánchez Cordero, and the Undersecretary for Human Rights, Alejandro Encinas, spoke with Mrs. Silvia Castillo Hernández and the Cuello-Alemán family.
“Congruent with the dialogue that distinguishes the Ministry of the Interior today, Undersecretary Alejandro Encinas and I listened to the demands of Silvia Castillo Hernández and the Cuello-Alemán family, who demonstrated in recent days at the secretariat, to seek that they be justice, “said the head of the Interior through her Twitter account.
The women demonstrated last Thursday at the Interior Ministry to demand justice.
In the case of Mrs. Silvia Castillo Hernández, she is an indirect victim of the homicide of her son Alan Francisco Ibarra Castillo, which occurred on March 26, 2019. Her son was found dead on May 13 of last year, in San Luis Potosí .
Last Thursday Castillo tried to enter the dependency facilities, however, the security guards prevented him from entering. Faced with the refusal, he took advantage of an oversight and began to climb the fence to the balcony of the building.
Mrs. Marcela Alemán is one of the women who have held the protest at the CNDH facilities since last September.
