In the vicinity of the El Diez ejido, at the southern exit of Culiacán, more than two hundred white containers – some of them emplayados – were discovered, which contained liquid chemical substances, presumably for processing synthetic drugs.
The State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) reported that four days after the discovery of more than three tons of crystal, cocaine, opium gum and fentanyl pills in the Carrizal community, elements of the army and the State Preventive Police carried out this new find.
During a tour of the vicinity of the El Diez ejido, federal and state forces noticed strong odors of chemical substances. When inspecting the area, they discovered, semi-cultivators in a plot, several packages wrapped in plastic.
The authorities reported more than 200 white containers with a capacity for a thousand liters, some of them emplayados, whose liquid content suggests that they are chemical substances to process synthetic drugs. The drums were secured and made available to the authorities.

Cristóbal Castañeda Camarillo, Secretary of Public Security, estimated that this assurance, very close to a protected farm that allegedly serves as a warehouse and processing center for synthetic drugs, has a value of more than 30 million dollars on the black market.
