Test of Chinese vaccine against COVID arrives in Mexico

Chancellor Marcelo Ebrard reported the arrival of 7,000 units of vaccine from the Chinese laboratory CanSino Biologics “to be applied immediately.”

He had previously communicated that the study represents an investment of CanSino for 140 million dollars in phase 3 to test the vaccine in which 15 thousand volunteers participate.

He expressed a “special” appreciation for the professionalism and accuracy with which they act.

“Hope is being translated into reality against COVID-19,” he said.

In the morning, the foreign minister explained that this week the application of this vaccine will begin in Aguascalientes, Mexico City, Coahuila, Michoacán and Nuevo León.
